Our exciting Drama and English programme enables you to develop your talents as a performer, critic, writer, technician or designer while acquiring a detailed understanding of writing in English and a sophisticated awareness of the critical debates within theatre craft. From the start of your degree, you will be engaging with dramatic texts, theatre history, modes of criticism and a wide range of performance practices. Our course also offers a wide range of optional modules in Drama and English, allowing you to tailor the degree to your specific career ambitions. You will also have the option of studying overseas - an exciting opportunity to broaden your theoretical knowledge and practical skills of theatre craft as well as your cultural horizons - at a university in Italy, Germany, Cyprus or the Czech Republic.
